Romantic Piano Concerto Journey Tour #16
Pagadian City, Philippines
Piano 1 (Soloist) - Ingrid Sala Santamaria
Piano 2 (Orchestra) - Reynaldo G. Reyes
This is the Matinee of the tour held at the Pagadian City Gym. All the main public and private schools were invited to the concert.
Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini is one of his more well-known works although not as commonly performed due to the technical difficulties demanded from the soloist. The 18th variation is very popular as it is often used in movie soundtracks and still remains one of the most recognizable piece of classical music. This particular variation was used in the movie Somewhere in Time and also in the Filipino soap opera, "Gulong ng Palad", among other things.

Terry Redlin, "Americas Most Popular Artist", has given the world a great gift with his ability to capture on canvas the memories so many of us share...from our childhood and our family traditions to life in rural America. Over the course of his career, Redlin's style has continued to evolve from the wildlife scenes of the early years to the glowing cabins in the woods, to the children flying kites on a windy hillside. Every image comes to life with Redlin's magical ability to create a glow from within his paintings. His style, referred to as "romantic realism" is not intended to be photographic: rather a compilation of places he has been, people he has known, and memories he has shared throughout his lifetime. In this video, "A Conversation with Terry Redlin", you will meet the man behind the artwork and share in the experiences that come to life on his canvas.
